Represented by the Department of Family Affairs, the Ministry of Social Development and Family organized a discussion forum via Microsoft Teams entitled "Qatar World Cup 2022 and the Arab Family Cohesion" on Arab Family Day, which falls on December 7 of each year.
As a researcher in the Department of Family Research and Policy at the Doha International Family Institute, Ms. Aisha Al-Sultan also participated in the forum, and she presented a working paper entitled Sports and Family Cohesion.
This forum, which coincides with Qatar's hosting of the World Cup, aims to highlight the interactive scene of the cohesion of the Arab family with their various cultures during the World Cup. It also seeks to share the interaction of Arab families with their various members in the activities of the Qatar World Cup 2022, as well as confirms Qatar's success in organizing a family world cup, in which families of all nationalities and several members interacted.
