MSDF Participates in "Ethical Media Content" Initiatives Exhibition

Under the patronage and attendance of Her Excellency Buthaina Bint Ali Al-Jabr Al-Nuaimi, Minister of Social Development and Family, the Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) has participated in the "Ethical Media Content" Media Initiatives Exhibition, showcasing its distinguished projects and highlighting pioneering experiences. The event, which facilitated the exchange of expertise among participants, was held alongside the forum "Preventive Media: A Partner in Societal Values and Social Cohesion," organized by the Behavioral Health Support Center in cooperation with its partners.

During the event, the forum on preventive media covered several critical themes. Key discussions focused on modern media practices in public awareness, exploring ways to leverage them effectively, and entrenching positive social behaviors. The forum also emphasized the media's role in promoting value-driven content and developing innovative strategies to strengthen societal cohesion.

In addition, the gathering highlighted the vital function of media in preventing negative behaviors and reinforcing community values. It further addressed how media can serve as an effective tool for guiding individual conduct toward positive patterns and enhancing social stability amid ongoing challenges.

As part of its participation, the Ministry featured its "Financial Literacy" initiative, launched last July, which seeks to instill a culture of sound financial management within the community and boost financial sustainability for families.

The Ministry emphasized that its involvement in the exhibition underscores the significance of the Financial Literacy initiative, designed to nurture youth, empower them, and foster innovative entrepreneurial thinking. Through specialized workshops targeting various groups—particularly young adults planning marriage, university students, and new employees—the initiative aims to enhance financial awareness and ensure long-term economic stability for households.

It is worth noting that the "Financial Literacy" program, including awareness campaigns on effective money management, will continue through the end of the current year. These efforts will feature specialized training workshops aimed at all segments of society, with particular emphasis on youth engagement.
