The 45th Ordinary Session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs concluded today, Thursday, in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The event also marked the conclusion of the High-Level Arab Conference on the Implementation of the Doha Declaration, issued by the Second World Summit for Social Development.

The meetings were held in the presence of Her Excellency Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, Minister of MSDF. During the session, the Council approved several key resolutions concerning its mandate following extensive discussions among the participating delegations.

Participants emphasized the necessity of prioritizing groups in need of social protection, particularly persons with disabilities, the elderly, women, and children. They called for strengthening social inclusion and economic empowerment policies, while ensuring equitable access to education, health, and basic services.

The attendees agreed on developing a comprehensive Arab Action Plan to implement the Doha Declaration. This plan is based on supporting the "Arab Vision 2045," developing mechanisms for relief, early recovery, and reconstruction, and enhancing food and water security. It also focuses on technological integration, artificial intelligence, lifelong learning, and entrepreneurship.

Furthermore, the participants called for intensifying efforts to implement the Arab Strategic Framework for the Eradication of Multidimensional Poverty. They expressed support for the operationalization of the Arab Center for Social Policy Studies and Poverty Eradication in Jordan, alongside a commitment to the rights of persons with disabilities, the implementation of the Amman-Berlin Declaration, and the promotion of social dialogue.

At the conclusion of the session and the conference, Her Excellency expressed her appreciation to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for its warm hospitality and excellent organization, reaffirming the State of Qatar's commitment to advancing social development across the region.
