'Made at Home' Exhibition Boosts Local Market Presence

The Ministry of Social Development and Family participated in the "Made at Home" exhibition, hosted by the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) from May 28 to 30 in Hall 12. This participation aligns with ongoing efforts to support home-based businesses and strengthen their presence in the local market. The exhibition serves as a vital platform for home-based projects to showcase their products directly to the public, allowing owners to gauge consumer feedback and build a broader customer base.

The exhibition featured the participation of ten productive family projects spanning various sectors, including food, natural care products, handicrafts, and artworks. This showcase reflects the diversity of small-scale initiatives and their capability to develop highly marketable products for the local community.

This participation is part of the Ministry's strategic direction to expand marketing opportunities for home-based businesses and ensure their sustainability. Furthermore, it aims to encourage entrepreneurs to scale their projects, facilitating a gradual transition toward broader production and wider market reach.
