"From the Homeland" and its national projects attract World Cup guests at Al Bayt Stadium

Represented by the Department of Family Affairs, the activities of the Ministry of Social Development and Family are witnessing a distinguished public presence through its participation in Al Bayt Stadium, which was very popular with the World Cup fans.

This Participation is highlighted through an initiative "From the Homeland", which is to display the production of national projects that are local foods, clothes, textiles, perfumes, gifts, and antiques.

These continuous activities come within the framework of the Ministry's keenness to provide a distinguished experience for the owners of national production projects, to compete and provide their best products. Many fans flocked to take souvenir photos in Qatari uniforms and taste both the Arabic coffee and the Qatari food that attracted them, especially the World Cup fans who found in the experience of these foods a distinctive aspect that added to their experiences since the beginning of their visit to the country.

Owners of productive projects welcomed their visitors with several events and activities, where they praised the capabilities and talents of Qatari productive women. On the other hand, several female participants expressed their happiness at participating to highlight their skills in presenting, developing, and marketing their products, thanking the Ministry for organizing these pillars and providing them with the opportunity to participate.

The national projects' participation also included many interactive activities with the public, as they play an essential role during Qatar's hosting of the World Cup, as the number of participating families reached 100 families who are owners of national productive projects. Those owners contribute to the economic development of a large segment of society.

Furthermore, it has achieved great success since the start of the World Cup. The Ministry's ambitious vision contributed to the development of an effective and productive Qatari society and bridged them to promote entrepreneurship, thereby helping to unlock the potential of these promising projects.
